A Life, A Memory

Roots run deep in the American South, and no one can explain the intricacies of their network like Cynthia Raxter. As a professional storyteller living in a rural area of North Carolina, Cynthia emphasizes the power of memories and folktales in southern communities. This project was done in conjunction with the Morehead Planetarium’s program, Tales of the American South.

For this video, I was worked as co-producer, cinematographer and editor with another videographer.
